Lucy's Sheep Shearing Adventure

Father and Sons Campout

Jacob snuggling in to sleep. When we went to bed, there was a pretty good cloud cover and the temperature was really nice. However, during the night the clouds cleared away and the temperature plummeted. I think everybody stayed fairly warm. It was sure hard getting out of bed the next morning.

Jacob by the "Big Ball." This is one of the activities the Stake had set up for Saturday morning. They also had a paintball gallery, a bb gun shooting gallery, scavenger hunt, softball, as well as several other activities. Later on in the day, there was a paintball war that Jordan participated in. A good time was had by all!

Jacob bundled up for breakfast. During the night the temperature really dropped and it got very cold. We spent most of the morning just trying to get warmed up. Even though Jacob is just newly potty trained, he had no accidents on the campout.

Shearing Sheep

Melanie and the little kids went to the West Desert for a few days this week in order to cook for the crews that come in to shear Grandpa's sheep. Here Lucy, Jacob and Blake are looking at the sheep. Lucy and Jacob had a ball!

Ty had his picture taken about two weeks ago. He is a pretty happy little fellow. As you can see he, like our other kids, likes to ham it up for the camera!

Potty Train!

Jacob has gotten on the potty train! Jacob started potty training about two weeks ago. He has done a pretty good job and he will go to the bathroom by himself a lot of the time. Jacob likes to wear what he calls, "wonderwear." Here, he is showing off some of his favorite "wonderwear" that has pictures of characters from the movie, "Cars."

Dinosaur!

While we were at the park today, some people brought their ugly lizard to get some fresh air. Jacob thought it was a dinosaur. The kids were really intrigued and spent a while looking and reluctantly petting the lizard. 5.08.
